First Weekend Down

Well we made it the first weekend without daddy here. Good thing I have my family to keep me busy!
On Friday I had to take my 3 hour glucose tolerance test. That was not fun at all!! I was so hungry the whole time. They should never make a pregnant woman fast..lol But luckily there were other ladies there doing the same thing so I had someone to talk to. I also got a chance to finally start Emmalyn's blanket!
It's going to be so warm and thick for her. Good thing, because she'll be tiny in the winter!
I was fine during the test but when I finally got the chance to eat I started getting really shaky, hot and sweaty. I thought I was going to pass out but luckily I didn't! We had Venezia's pizza for lunch :)
After lunch, Peyton, my mom, and I went shopping! I had a gift card for Kohl's so I had to use it! I ended up getting a shirt and necklace for my cousin's wedding that we're going to at the end of this month. I can't wait to go to Minnesota and see my family there! I'm also grateful that my parents and brother will be on the flight with us. It will make getting on the flight and the duration of the flight so much easier!
Peyton was getting fussy while we were shopping so we went home and put her down for a nap. I ended up staying at my parent's house for dinner and went back to our house before her bed time.
On Saturday was my mom's birthday! I think I've never eaten as much food as that day.. There are three restaurants that give 10 dollars towards your meal when it's your birthday so we had the trifecta of Joe's. We started out at Joe's Farm grill where I got green eggs and ham for breakfast. It was so good! 3 eggs scrambled with pesto, mozz cheese and ham! Peyton loved it :)
After breakfast I dropped Peyton off at my parent's house so my dad could watch her while we went and saw a brand new baby :) He was so tiny and cute! I couldn't believe Peyton was even smaller than him when she was born!
After that we went and got a free dozen donuts from Krispe Kreme for my mom since it's her birthday :)
Then we went back to the house for a little bit to relax before going to Liberty Market which is owned by the same guy. Peyton and I shared an egg salad sandwich with rice pudding. And then for dessert we got a bar called the Salt River Bar. It was delicious! They had so many good choices for dessert so I think i'll have to make a trip out there again..haha
It was definitely nap time so we went back to the house for a little bit to get her in a nap, then went to church after she woke up. She was being really active so I knew we wouldn't last in the service so we stayed out in the lobby where she could run around and play. We could still hear the sermon out there but it was hard to pay attention when I had to constantly watch Peyton!
After church we  headed over to Joe's BBQ for the last of our meals. We had a bbq pulled pork sandwich and sweet corn. She sure loves her corn!!
I was exhausted and so was she, so we said goodbye and headed home. It looked like we were going to get a storm that night but we only ended up getting a couple drops.
Sunday was our time to relax. We just hung out at home and relaxed. I did some laundry and then started feeling some pain in my lower right stomach. It started hurting more when I was going up and down the stairs and when I would push on it so I needed to take it easy. It didn't help that Emmalyn was sitting in that spot too so she was constantly pushing on it. After relaxing for a while it ceased up a little but I could still feel it. That night we definitely ended up with a better storm! We got a lot of rain, thunder and lightning, which I LOVE. I love Arizona storms. It just sucks we don't get very many of them.
This morning, I was very thankful the we still have good people in the neighborhood. Well...some..
This morning around 6 I heard the dogs go nuts. I knew it wasn't Brian leaving because he leaves earlier than that so I grabbed a gun and checked the house. No one was inside so I went back to bed. Then when I woke up I saw Charger out of his cage. He had to have been spooked because he rarely breaks out of the cage. I let the dogs out that morning and then got a call at 7 from Ben saying the dogs had escaped. Our nice neighbor somehow managed to round up the dogs and put them back in our backyard. Apparently our back gate was unhooked! So someone had to have been in our backyard because I know the dogs can't open it on their own. I put the lock on it so hopefully it doesn't happen again. Good thing I had everything locked up or else they would be sorry for coming into our house! No one messes with a gun owning pregnant chick.
Now Peyton is taking her morning nap so I'm thinking of taking a short nap myself!

64 days left!!
